LIVERMORE FALLS – An East Livermore man was arrested Friday and charged with sexual abuse of a young girl, police said.
Livermore Falls police officer Heidi Gould charged Raynold Jones, 48, with unlawful sexual contact, Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.
Police received a complaint on Wednesday and an investigation was conducted, he said.
Jones posted $250 cash bail at the Livermore Falls Police Station, and his release conditions were no indirect or direct contact with the victim or witnesses, Steward said.
Jones will appear May 12 at Livermore Falls District Court.
