WALES – The Burnt Meadow Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, announces the recipients of the Good Citizenship Award.
Gregory Roy has been selected as Lisbon High School’s awardee. Roy is active in athletic and cocurricular events. He is a member of the National Honor Society, president of the Student Government, a member of the Interact Club and a peer counselor.
Roy consistently makes the honor roll and has been named Student of the Month. He participates in soccer, basketball and basketball.
Oak Hill High School’s recipient of the Good Citizenship Medal is Michael Sherman. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Honor Society. He has been named a Student of the Month and has received a community service award.
Sherman is active in his church and volunteers with the Litchfield Senior Citizens and the Litchfield American Legion.
Burnt Meadow Chapter members will honor the students and their parents at a noon luncheon on Saturday, April 10, at the home of Corley Anne Byras.
