JAY – Jay Elementary School kindergarten registration has been scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at the Jay Elementary School office. No appointment necessary.

To register, the child must be 5 years of age on or before Oct. 15. It is necessary to have the child’s birth certificate, immunization record and social security number at the time of registration.

The immunization record can be obtained from the child’s physician. A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate can be picked up at the town office where the child was born or in the town where parents lived at the time of the birth. The cost in Jay for a copy of a birth certificate is $7.

Kindergarten students must be registered on April 1 or notify the school office at 897-5719 of the intent to register for the fall.
