LEWISTON – Ryan Gamache makes his pro debut and Vinny Donatelli and Declet Timlin step back in the ring to face different opponents in Saturday night’s 10-bout card, which begins at 8 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center.

“I want to bring up some prospects and develop them along the way,” said former two-time world champion Joey Gamache. “It’s a great venue.

“People are going to get their money’s worth. Usually, there are not

that many fights. It is going to be a night of action. I worked hard on the card and I want people to get their money’s worth.”

According to Gamache, who is now a trainer and promoter, the Gamache Boxing Club has spent $20,000 to put this card together.

Tickets are $20 and can also be purchased at Lisbon Street News in Lewiston.

Ryan Gamache, 18, Joey’s nephew, is turning pro and will take on Joey Lazarda from Lowell, Mass., in a lightweight bout.

In the heavyweight bouts, Lewiston’s Donatelli, who lost to Timilin in

the first round in the last card, will square off against Joe Head of

Pennsylvania. Timlin and Donatelli are looking for victories so they can

face each other in a rematch. Timilin of New York goes head to head with Joe Roedale, also from Pennsylvania. The other heavyweight match will feature Dave Williams and Ronek Ross, both from Philadelphia.

In the light heavyweight matches, John Webster takes on James Lowry and Brooklyn’s Racine Rashid faces Philadelphia’s Barry White.

The junior middleweight matches will feature undefeated Jason Lehoullier (12-0) taking on Bruce Corby of Scranton, Penn., and Dennis Burley will be trading fists with John Scalzi.

In a junior lightweight bout, Jed Saygi will face an opponent that has

yet to be determined.

Jose Ayala will face Hassan Waswk in a featherweight matchup.
