1930 – 2004

MILTON TOWNSHIP – Elbriedge Llewellyn Buck, 73, of Route 232 , Milton Township, died at his residence Friday, March 26.

He was born in Milton on May 30, 1930, the son of Llewellyn A. and Ethel Eastman Buck. He was educated in Milton and Rumford schools.

He married Florence York Buck on Nov. 6, 1948.

He was employed at the Oxford Paper Mill for 13 years, and later started his own forestry business in Milton Township.

He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, and he greatly enjoyed his wife and family and the times they spent traveling and camping.

Mr. Buck is survived by his wife of 55 years of Milton Township; three sons, Llewellyn E. Buck and his companion Connie Haas of Milton Township, Larry O. Buck and his wife Sue of Rumford, and Wayne F. Buck and his wife Deana of Milton Township; two daughters, Susan B. Hooper and her husband Peter of Milton Township, and Shirley Buck and Randy Keach of New Sharon; three sisters, Kathleen Barker of Mexico, Charlotte Rose of Byron, and Thelma McKenna of Milton Township; six grandchildren, Jennifer L. Buck of Poland, Allison M. Burnham, Jason P. Buck, Wayne F. Buck Jr., and Kristin L. Buck, all of Milton Township, and Marcie B. Smith of Auburn; six great-grandchildren, Kourtney L. Burnham and Emily M. Burnham, both of Milton Township, Tristan C. Buck of Auburn, Kaylee J. Buck of Bethel, and Madisyn J. Buck and Katilyn A. Buck, both of Milton Township.

He was predeceased by one brother, Floyd Buck on Feb. 8, 2003; one sister, Esther Knapp on Oct. 3, 2003; and one grandson, Eric James Buck on March 26, 1981.
