1922 – 2004

LEWISTON – Fernand J. Sirois, 82, formerly of 12 Goffe St., died Friday evening at Central Maine Medical Center following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston Feb. 1, 1922, the son of John and Yvonne Gagne Sirois.

Mr. Sirois worked for the City of Lewiston at Public Works for six years, before retiring due to disability.

He was a member of Holy Cross Church, and the American Legion. He also enjoyed going out to dinner, and while a resident at Bolster Heights, he enjoyed Beano, Penny Pitch, and the horse races.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Alda Lacasse and Louise Jalbert, both of Lewiston; two God children, Diane Jalbert of Lewiston, and Delia Dumont of Greene.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Rita Jalbert; and two brothers, Robert and Edward Sirois.
