1914 – 2004

LEWISTON – Liane Y. Beaudoin, 89, a resident of 20 Lorraine Ave., Lewiston, died Friday evening at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston April 13, 1914, the daughter of Apolinaire and Marie Louise Morneau Morin. She attended local schools, and will always be remembered as a good seamstress and a good cook.

She retired from the local shoe industry in 1981.

She was a member of SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Horizon 55 and Covenant 50, Lewiston Senior Citizens, and the Ladies of St. Anne of SS Peter and Paul’s Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Fernande Mathieu and her husband Roland of Lewiston; four grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard, who was killed in action in Normandy in 1944; one son, Fernand D. Beaudoin, who died May 17, 2001; and one sister, Laurette Lacasse, who died in 1979.
