1927 – 2004

ORONO – Reba Belle Haines, 77, of South Paris and Orono, passed away peacefully at Orono Commons Health Care Facility on March 27.

Born in Sumner, Jan. 21, 1927, the daughter of William A. and Belle V. Crockett, she married and moved to South Paris, where she lived for many years.

She worked for many years at Cornwall Wood Products and Paris Manufacturing Co. For the past six and a half years she has resided at Orono Commons.

She is survived by a son, Frederick and his wife, Barbara and their daughter, Melinda Taylor and her husband, Don and stepson, Richard Berry, all of Norway; a daughter, Carleen Caswell and her husband, Bruce and their daughter, Michelle LaBree, all of Old Town; a sister, Victoria Crockett of California; several nieces and nephews; and all her special friends at Orono Commons.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 1961; three brothers, Leo Crockett, Harold Crockett and Robert Crockett; and one sister, Delia Libby.
