• March 17: An assault was reported to have occurred in front of Dirigo High School on the afternoon of March 16.

• March 17, 8 a.m.: A Holman Mountain Road resident reported the theft of personal property from his home.

• March 16, 11:30 p.m.: A car-deer collision on Weld Street did an estimated $350 damage to a 2000 Chevrolet sports utility vehicle driven by Ann Morton, 58, of Andover.

Police issued a deer advisory to motorists, asking drivers to use extreme caution when driving on Dixfield’s streets and roads, because deer are on the move now with the arrival of spring.

• March 13, 7 p.m.: Joshua Krell, 47, of East Dixfield, was summoned for operating beyond license restrictions and operating with an open container of alcohol, following a single-vehicle wreck involving a dog. Krell’s 1999 Dodge pickup truck sustained an estimated $650 in damage.

• March 13, 7:45 a.m.: A car-deer collision on Route 2 caused an estimated $3,100 in damage to a 2001 Pontiac sedan owned by Cary Bradbury, 25, of Wilton. Driver Jordan Richards, 52, of New Sharon, was not injured.

• March 12, 10:45 p.m.: A High Street resident filed an indecent exposure complaint on a juvenile, who, with his companions, was gone when police arrived.

• March 11, 1:45 p.m.: Police responded to Dirigo High School following a report of possession of marijuana by a student. Evidence was seized and Chief Richard A. Pickett is taking care of the matter in cooperation with school officials.

• March 9, 4 p.m.: A Twin Rivers Lumber Co. employee reported that someone had shot at and damaged the windshield of a new truck, causing an estimated $1,000 in damage.

ARRESTS

• Shawn A. Noyes, 27, of Mexico, on a charge of violation of conditions of release, on March 19. He was released on bail from the Dixfield police department shortly after his arrest.

• March 14: Ryan Palmer, 22, of Mexico, on a charge of speeding; Dana Scully, 44, of Sutton, Mass., on a charge of speeding; Bart Killen, 40, of Wiscasset, on a charge of failure to register a motor vehicle (expired 30-150 days).

• March 13: Stephen Nickl, 31, of Bar Harbor, on a charge of failure to produce evidence of insurance.

• March 12: Douglas Wade, 37, of Rumford, on charges of failure to produce evidence of insurance, and failure to display a current and valid certificate of inspection.

• March 7: Ryan Roy, 19, of Rumford, on a charge of failure to display a current and valid certificate of inspection.

• March 4: Nicholas Skidgell, 19, of Carthage, on charges of speeding, failure to produce evidence of insurance, and inadequate rear tires.

• Feb. 29: Seth McPherson, 18, of Dixfield, on a charge of speeding; Michelle Duguay, 25, of Rumford, on a charge of speeding.
