Sharon Conners was charged with drug possession.

STRONG – A Madison woman was stopped for a vehicle defect Saturday and ended up in jail.

Sharon Conners, 48, was charged with operating with a suspended license initially then also charged with unlawful possession of a schedule W drug, cocaine, said Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Turcotte.

Turcotte was working a traffic detail on Chandler Road and stopped the vehicle, he said.

Conners admitted she had a small amount of marijuana and cocaine in her possession, Turcotte said.

Conners posted $200 cash bail from the county jail and was released Saturday. She has a court date April 28 at the District Court in Farmington.
