RUMFORD – “Dana and Friends,” a ventriloquist and variety show, will appear at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 4, at the Rumford First Baptist Church.

Dana’s act includes several puppets, one a giant bird named “Pee Wee,” who is almost as tall as Dana himself. Dana will present Bible stories and spiritual truths through his puppet friends as well as juggling, surprise paper cutting and tricks.

Dana and his friends perform throughout New England at schools, churches, fairs and festivals and provide fun for the entire family. He has recently completed his fifth series of shows and teaching sessions in Russia as part of an evangelical team where he performed for Russian children and adults in the Perm region.
