LEWISTON – The Jesus Party Pentecostal Kids’ Church has announced its holiday schedule for the month of April:

• On Friday, April 2, the ministry will kick off its fifth annual Blue Ribbon Campaign recognizing April as Child-Abuse Prevention Month. Children will receive blue ribbons and participate in a candlelight service.

• On Friday, April 9, children will join with those at other area evangelical churches for a special community Good Friday service at 7 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church of Lewiston.

• On Saturday, April 10, the Rev. Douglas Taylor will host the ninth annual Easter Extravaganza focusing on the Passion of Christ. Children will have the opportunity throughout the evening to win Easter baskets.

• During school vacation from Monday, April 19, through Friday, April 23, the ministry will hold its annual Vacation Bible School. The theme, the Ten Commandments, will be reinforced through a video curriculum and prizes.

All events will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jesus Party Headquarters at 291 Bates St., with the exception of the Good Friday Service. Spring registrations are being accepted for children 5 years and up. Rides are available. For more information call 786-5568.
