JAY – The first in a series of monthly luncheons and dinners will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at LaFleur’s Restaurant. The series is known as Western Mountain Women’s Connection and Western Mountain After 5 Club.

The series is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries, an international organization with approximately 1,500 groups in the United States and Canada. All women of the area are invited.

Spring fashion shows will be featured at the events from Butterfly McQueen’s Boutique in Farmington.

Guest speaker and soloist Dr. Georgia Basko of Lebanon will relate how she coped with “Choices, Changes and Challenges.” Her 200-year-old Cape Cod style home was featured several years ago in Country Living Magazine.

Reservations for the luncheon and complimentary nursery are necessary and may be made by calling Betsey at 562-8395 or Johnnie at 897-4556.

Reservations for the dinner are also essential and may be made by calling Ada at 778-4217 or Helen at 645-9650.

No child care is provided for the dinner.

The cost for the luncheon and dinner are $11 inclusive of tax and gratuity.

Bonnilee Ashley, national representative for Stonecroft Ministries, from Kansas City, Mo., is working in the area to organize the groups.

She invites all area women to attend and to bring friends for these new beginnings.
