FARMINGTON – The University of Maine at Farmington will host the 69th annual meeting of the Maine Appalachian Trail Club from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at Roberts Learning Center in Room C-131.

Among agenda topics are updates on the Redington wind tower proposal in Carrabassett Valley and restructuring the Appalachian Trail Conference organization of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.

The MATC is a volunteer nonprofit corporation that manages and maintains 267 miles of the Appalachian Trail, its facilities and corridor in Maine.
