Auburn – The city’s Eggs-traordinary Easter Eggs-travaganza will be held on Saturday, April 10, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Festival Plaza on Main Street.
Children ages 1 to 11 are invited to participate in an Easter egg hunt. The eggs will contain numbers that will be turned in for candy treats. There will also be games, including ring the duck, egg toss, tail the bunny, and Easter bean bag toss.
Prizes will be awarded to each child for the completion of all games.
“As we did last year, this year’s celebration has been designed to accommodate a growing number of participants. Our goal is to challenge the older kids, while making it fun for everyone,” said Laurie Smith, Auburn’s community relations manager.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand for the event. Refreshments, including hot dogs, popcorn and drinks will be available to purchase. In case of inclement weather the rain location for the Egg hunt will be Hasty Community Center at Pettengill Park. For more information contact Auburn Parks and Recreation at 784-0191.
