LIVERMORE FALLS – Two Livermore Falls teenagers were arrested Saturday after they allegedly beat another teen in the face with a pellet gun.

Ryan Jolicouer, 18, and Jarred Keith, 18, were each charged with aggravated assault, Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

A Livermore woman called police and reported that her 18-year-old son, who lives in Livermore Falls, had been beaten up Friday night, Steward said.

Officer Joseph Sage investigated the incident and made the arrests, he said.

The beating took place on High Street, Steward said.

The victim was walking two girls home about 9:30 p.m. when the two approached him, the chief said.

Jolicouer and Keith allegedly beat him in the head with a plastic pellet gun until the gun broke, the chief said, and then stole his cigarettes.

The victim suffered facial injuries, Steward said.

Jolicouer posted $320 cash bail from the station, Steward said, and Keith was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn because he didn’t have the bail money at the time.
