LEWISTON – The Woman’s Hospital Association of Central Maine Medical Center will feature the work of Michelle Gagnon and Joyce Coyne during April.
Gagnon concentrates on photographic art. She is inspired by the colors and creations that nature has to offer. She is looking forward to creating prints and/or calendars of animals, specifically horses, with part of the proceeds benefiting local nonprofit organizations.
Coyne will exhibit her water colors. She will also participate in art festivals throughout the summer, as well as the Lewiston-Auburn Garden Tour on July 10. The paintings on display at CMMC will include works done in the Popham Beach area and Montreal. She also continues to do garden and home portraits under commission.
The art exhibit may be viewed in the main corridor of Central Maine Medical Center throughout April.
The association supports the medical center and its patients by promoting the health and welfare of the community by raising money to fund special projects. Anyone interested in membership or the monthly artist showings should call the WHA at 795-2295.
