Big band favorites will be featured
FALMOUTH – Falmouth Community Programs is hosting the Edith Jones Project in concert on Friday, April 16, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Falmouth High School theater.
The Edith Jones Project is an all-women big band that plays music from Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck and Count Basie.
The concert is being put on by the communities of Cumberland, Freeport, Gorham, South Portland and Yarmouth.
Admission fee is $8 in advance and $10 at the door. To register, people can call Lucky D’Ascanio, 781-5253.
