LEWISTON – “One More Thing,” Michael Parent’s new one-man show, directed by David Kaye, will be staged Saturday, April 17, at the Franco-American Heritage Center at St. Mary’s.

The play is based on and reprises one of the characters from “A Frog Stuck in the Ice,” created and performed by Susan Poulin, Gordon Carlisle and Parent January 2001 in Lewiston, courtesy of L/A Arts.

In “One More Thing,” Jean-Paul Boisvert, a retired Franco-American mill worker observing his 67th birthday, regales the audience with stories, especially about his beloved, deceased but still influential wife, Marie-Louise. He tunes into and berates “his teams,” the Bruins and Red Sox; takes phone calls from his grownup children and other family members; and haltingly moves toward tying up a major loose end in his life.

The performance will begin at 8 p.m. Advance tickets may be purchased for $9 at Victor News on Park Street, Lewiston; and at Hannaford supermarkets in Lewiston and Auburn. Tickets will be $10 at the door. The heritage center is located at the corner of Oxford and Cedar streets. For more information, call 783-1585.
