POLAND SPRING – The wedding of Nicole Jolynn Guimond and Paul George Figueiredo was held at 3:30 p.m. on May 31 at All Souls Chapel. Pastor Norman Shaw officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Figueiredo is the daughter of Faye Bergeron of Monmouth and Ernest and Cara Guimond of Leeds. Mr. Figueiredo is the son of Jose Figueiredo of Fall River, Mass., and the late Maria Figueiredo.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a white strapless gown with a train and she carried a bouquet of hand-wrapped white roses.

Amanda Carroll, friend, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Debra Larrabee, Amanda Ouellette and Sandy Malloy, friends, and Trisha Stevens, cousin. Alyssa Stevens, cousin, was flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man for his best friend was Jon Melo and ushers were Marc Furtado, Fred Calisto and Jim Malloy, friends, and Nelson Figueiredo, twin brother. James Malloy, son of a friend, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston, after which the couple took a seven-day cruise from New York to Florida and the Bahamas. They are residing in Fall River, Mass.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Monmouth Academy and a 2001 graduate of Johnson and Wales University at Providence, R.I., with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She is employed at Pilgrim Title Insurance Company in Providence, R.I.

The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Dimen Regional Vocational Technical High School and he is employed at Shaw’s Supermarket.
