AUBURN – St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center has opened a satellite laboratory at Central Maine Orthopaedics on Minot Avenue.

The service will be known as the Minot Avenue Lab. St. Mary’s laboratory staff will draw blood, take urine samples and perform EKGs, which are then sent to the hospital’s main lab for analysis. The hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and appointments are not required.

The lab is a partnership with Central Maine Orthopaedics, which proposed the project as a method for improving patient satisfaction.
