GORHAM – Mike Haines, Peter Lagos, and Tim Brown each tallied a hat trick to lead COlby College to a 14-1 triumph over the University of Southern Maine in non-conference lacrosse action Thursday.

Haines gave the White Mules (7-2) a 1-0 lead just 20 seconds into the contest. Colby built the lead to 6-0 at the end of the first period and never looked back as they cruised to the victory.

The Huskies (4-5) lone goal was scored by Matt Butler on an assist from T.J. Bell in the fourth quarter to avoid the shutout.
