BETHEL – Selectmen are expected to revise the police wage plan in the fiscal year 2005 municipal budget proposal at Monday’s board meeting.
The board is to also authorize an execution of agreement with the Maine Department of Transportation on a Community Gateway Grant and review the town’s options in enforcement of junkyard statutes.
Other topics on the agenda for the meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, in the Town Office include communications from:
• Haley Tripp about an ordinance for recall of elected municipal officials.
• Robert Blake about an ordinance to create a personnel committee.
• Robert Blake about accepting a portion of Kimball Hill Road.
• The Planning Board on fire protection provisions in the town code.
• The Ordinance Review Committee on shoreland zoning amendments.
• David Thurston about abandonment of the town’s interest in old Route 2.
An executive session has been scheduled with town attorney Geoff Hole via telephone to discuss litigation concerning the town’s attempt to tax time-share properties.
In other business, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 22, the Board of Selectmen is to meet in executive session to conduct their yearly town manager job performance evaluation.
