Barry McDonald reclaimed his seat, a three-year term, on the Board of Selectmen.
JAY – Voters kept School Committee members Clint Brooks, Gene Uhuad and Mary Redmond-Luce on the board Tuesday.

Brooks and Uhuad were challenged by Cathy Butterfield for two available three-year terms.

Brooks received 332 votes, Uhuad 318 votes and Butterfield 316 votes.

Brooks was elected to his third term and Uhuad to his second term.

In a race for a one-year term, Redmond-Luce received 341 votes to challenger Nancy Chaney’s 233 votes. Earlier this year, Redmond-Luce had been appointed by School Committee members to fill a vacant seat until Tuesday’s vote,

Selectman Barry McDonald of East Jay, who ran unopposed, was re-elected for his second, three-year term.
