ANDOVER – Sandra Alma Downs of Andover, passed away on April 16, after a lengthy illness.

Born in New Haven, Conn., Nov. 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Raymond I. and Alma Wilson Downs.

She worked as a resort hostess in Florida, and Maine. More recently, she was employed as an aide for hospice care. She leaves family in Connecticut and North Carolina and many friends in Maine.
