AUBURN – Registrations will end Friday for the Auburn Rec Youth T-Ball League. This new program is designed for youngsters ages 5-7. Entry fee is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents.

Practices (twice a week) will start next week. The league will operate Saturdays, May 8 through June 26.

Hockey school set
Dates have been established for the Maine Ice Hockey Goalie/Shooting School. The program will be held August 9-13 at Biddeford Ice Arena, and August 16-20 at Kennebec Ice Arena. The school is open to goalies and shooters ages 7-17.

Heading the program is Fred Quistgard, a professional goaltending coach since 1978 , and women’s coach at Union College. Additional information is available by calling Quistgard at (207) 751-0277.
