BRUNSWICK – For three Saturdays in May, Maine State Music Theatre will present three master classes on each of the components of performing in musical theater: singing, dancing and acting.
Each of these crafts will be taught in three classes divided by age: children from 8 to 13, youths from 14 to 17, and adults 18 and over. Singing and acting classes are 120 minutes in length. Dance classes are 90 minutes in length.
All classes are in Maine State Music Theatre’s new rehearsal studios at 22 Elm St. (near Hannaford). Since the classes are limited in number, people are being advised to book early. People can register by calling (207) 725-8769.
The cost of a single class is $30. A series of three classes – one singing, one dancing and one acting – is $75.
