FARMINGTON – Robert “Bob” V. Riggs, 63, of Wilton, died April 21, in Farmington.

Born in Farmington, June 20, 1940, a son of William and Corinne Riggs, he attended schools in Wilton and served in the U.S. Navy.

For many years he worked in shoe factories. “Bob” was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnne Riggs of Wilton; three sons, Randall Legere of Nobleboro, Jason Riggs of Hartland and Michael Riggs of Solon; two daughters, Lisa Weese of Cornville and Carla Riggs of Hartland; three stepsons, Gregory Legere of Livermore Falls, Steven Legere of New Hampshire and Kenneth Legere of New Hampshire; a sister, Shelby Rafter of Jay; a brother, William “Butch” Riggs of Wilton; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
