LEWISTON – Roger N. Landry, 78, of 201 Pine St. died Wednesday night, April 21, at his home following a brief illness.

He was born in Lewiston on May 22, 1925, the son of the late Felix and Anna (Auger) Landry. He attended local schools graduating from Lewiston High School and Maine Business Institute in 1941.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific campaign from 1943 through 1946.

Mr. Landry was a car salesman in the twin cities for over 40 years until his retirement in 1991.

He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church. He loved golfing and dancing.

He is survived by his seven sons, Francis S., Roger B., Michael P., Richard T., Robert P., and his wife Louise, Eugene B., and his wife Marilyn, and Stephen N.; his two daughters, Patricia A. and Kathryn F. Dick and her husband Scott; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Catherine C. Clabby in 1993; and his sister, Gaetane.
