MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire Bishop John McCormack is creating four new positions to increase evangelism and education efforts in Catholic parishes and schools.
The new positions include an executive director for education, who will supervise new directors of adult spirituality, youth ministry and religious instruction in Catholic schools.
McCormack also is appointing a new task force to recruit people to church ministries, including the priesthood.

Bodies Found

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – The attorney general’s office has scheduled a news conference Tuesday to provide more information on the death of a woman whose remains were found in a pond in Manchester on Saturday.
Authorities said they were treating it as a suspicious death.
Meanwhile, police in Berlin said a woman found dead there Sunday committed suicide.

Girls Found

NEW LONDON, N.H. (AP) – A group of girls that got lost in the woods in New London was found safely a few hours later.
Fish and Game Sgt. Brian Suttmeier said the five girls, all related and ranging in age from nine to 16, were hiking Sunday when they were reported missing around 6 p.m.
They were found around 11:30 p.m. about 11/2 miles. Suttmeier said the older girls built a fire to keep the group warm.
