BERLIN, N.H. – Gloria J. Bellemore, 60, of 640 First Ave., passed away Sunday evening, April 25, at the Androscoggin Valley hospital after being stricken ill while returning from Lewiston.

She was born in Berlin Feb. 4, 1944, the daughter of Roland and Mina Mae (Downes) Bellemore and has been a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Berlin High School with the class of 1962. She had worked for Brown Co., James River Corp., Crown Vantage, American Pulp and Paper and Fraser-Nexfor Corp. as a transportation and payroll clerk for 42 years. She was a member of the Salvation Army in Berlin.

Members of the family include her mother, Mina Mae Bellemore of Berlin; her brother, Ronald and his wife Helen Bellemore of Lewiston; her sister, Faith Desgroseilliers and her fiancee Don Kingsley of Berlin; one niece, Amy Bellemor; one nephew, Adam and his wife Stapanie Bellemore; four aunts, Minnie Oleson, Lorraine Downes, Doris Norton and Florence Quiram and her husband Ray; and many cousins.
