There is only one contest in the annual election.

LIVERMORE FALLS – Voters here will find only one contest for the June 8 annual election.

That is for the two-year selectmen’s seat presently held by Ken Jacques, who is being challenged by Tammy Greaton.

Incumbent Selectman Bill Demaray is running unopposed for his three-year position. William Nichols took out papers for the job but did not return them.

Town Clerk/Treasurer Kristal Flagg is seeing re-election for a two-year term.

Elaine Smith had turned in her papers for re-election to the SAD 36 board and Rhonda Drake, who was recently appointed to fill Russell Flagg’s unexpired term, has filed for election to the three-year position.

Terry Ouellette took out papers to fill the school board position being vacated by Beth Parker but failed to file them by the 4 p.m. Friday deadline Friday.
