AUBURN – A new slate of officers for Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, was installed recently at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St. Patricia Rea was installed worthy matron and Stephen Broas, worthy patron.

Others taking office were Harriet Stretton, associate matron; Betty Perkins, secretary; Mary Lawlor, treasurer; Kathy Williamson, conductress; Madelyn Grover, associate conductress; Ellen Broas, chaplain; Eva Johnson, marshal; Debra Greim, organist; Patricia Hodgdon, Adah; June Spear, Ruth; Sharon McGilvery, Esther; Lu Farrington, Martha; Darleen Harmon, Electa; James Lawlor, warder; and Andy Bradeen, sentinel.

Installing officers were Gloria J. Bowen, worthy grand matron; William H. Stretton, worthy grand patron; Stephanie Dupal, marshal; Corley Anne Byras, grand secretary, chaplain; Ellen Parady, organist; Josephine Dupal, district deputy grand matron, star point ceremony.

Junior past matron Ellen Broas and junior past patron Stephen Broas were presented their past matron and patron jewels.

Distinguished guest present were Gloria J. Bowen, WGM; William H. Stretton, WGP; Phillip Hubbard, associate grand patron; Corley Anne Byras, grand secretary; Roma Pelletier, grand Esther; Betty Perkins, grand Martha; Julieanne Irving, DDGM2; Josephine Dupal, DDGM4. Grand representatives present were Stephanie Dupal, Kansas; Mary Lawlor, British Columbia and Yukon; Clyde Bowen, Massachusetts.

Refreshments were served in the dining hall after the installation ceremony.
