Dart tourney on tap

PORTLAND -A benefit dart tournament sponsored by the Maine Dart Association is scheduled for Saturday, May 1 at 2 p.m. at The Station, Union Station Plaza, Portland.

Entry fee is $15. Registration will take place from 1-2 p.m. Those raising $25 will be entered free. First place prize is a guaranteed $350.

Proceeds will benefit the family of Association member Kent Cyr. His 4-year-old son, Henry, has a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD).

Hoop camp planned

WATERVILLE – Girls entering Grades 6-7 and 8-9 are eligible for the Maine Gold Rush Team Basketball Camp (for junior high girls teams) to be held June 30 to July 2 at Thomas College. Registration deadline is May 15.
