I think school should start later what’s your take on this?
Have you ever fallen asleep in class? Well, you’re not alone. In studies it shows that more than 50 percent of students have fallen asleep in class. “When schools start later, students come to school more regularly and change schools less often,’ suggests a study of Minneapolis public schools.
The study also shows that kids are less depressed and they also get better grades and teenagers tend to behave better. In the 1995-96 school year for instance, an average of 83 percent of ninth graders attended class daily and by the 1999-00, ninth grade attendance had increased to an average of 87 percent. Also getting a good nights sleep will help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
