PARIS – The Art Moves Dance Group will present its annual show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 7, in the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School auditorium.

The members of Art Moves, Hannah Brown, Samantha Brown, Sasha Campbell, Charles Howes, Jenna Johnson, Christa Langbehn, Stephanie McCoy and Dana Ryerson, have cooked up quite a show, appropriately titled “8 Cooks in the Kitchen.”

The performance will offer a variety of modern, hip-hop, African and Latin dances. The dancers have been preparing since September, with choreography from artistic director Debi Irons and the eight cooks themselves.

Two of the pieces were choreographed completely by the dancers, including a hip-hop dance and a dance with no music except a personal rhythm for each dancer.

Tickets are $5 in advance from Books-N-Things in Oxford Plaza, and Pick-A-Lily on Main Street, Norway, or are $7 at the door.
