AUBURN – A.J. Poulin drove in 3 runs to power Dunlap to a 5-1 victory over Auburn Firefighters Saturday in an opening game in the Major Division of the Auburn Suburban Little League. John Lowell pitched a complete game, striking out 9. AFF hurlers combined for 8 strikeouts.
Also in the Majors, Pepsi edged East Auburn 5-3 as winning pitcher Bruce St. Onge, Cameron Bisson, Mike DeVoe and EJ Zembas all whacked a double. St. Onge fanned 3. Kirsten Prue collected 3 hits for the Easties. Timmy Mains added a pair.
