BETHEL – Planners are expected to be awash in work on subdivision and site plan applications when they meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, in the Town Office.

New business includes a subdivision amendment for Bob Martin of Ski Tracks Inc. for the Taylor Woods project, a site plan application for David Miles’ Eden Ridge Townhouses project and a subdivision application for Harmon Orino’s and Gary Inman’s Farwell Mountain Estates on Swan Hill Road.

Old business items include a pair of subdivision applications, for Savage Land Development’s Birch Woods subdivision off Mayville Road and Countryside Acres on East Bethel Road, and the town of Bethel’s site plan application for the Bethel Ambulance barn expansion project on Main Street. Also being discussed is a memo from John Gray providing an update on a proposed amendment to the subdivision ordinance for its fire protection provision.

A public hearing is to be held at 6:45 p.m. on the Countryside Acres project.

The Sign Committee is to meet at 6:30 p.m. to discuss a sign application for Debbie Martin of Connecting Rentals at 22 Parkway.

In other business, the Board of Assessors is scheduled to meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, in the Town Office to discuss a resolution on the settlement of the time-share taxation matter.
