AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer Introduction to QuickBooks (CPT 059-21) from 6 to 8:30 p.m. starting May 18 and running through June 15.

The cost of the class is $195 and includes materials. Classes will be held in Kirk Hall on campus.

QuickBooks is the one of the most popular small-business computer accounting packages available. In this class, participants will learn how to set up an accounting system for a company, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, create invoices, bill customers, print checks and create financial statements. A basic understanding of Windows is recommended.

The class will be taught by Ken O’Brien. He owns a computer consulting company in Woolwich and specializes in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Web Design.
