LIVERMORE FALLS – As the end of the school year nears, the SAD 36 principals outlined a busy schedule for directors Thursday night.

Rod Wright announced the 10 top ranking students at Livermore Falls High School: Andre Mercier, James Foster, Amber Cossaboom, Kara Timberlake, Mark Castonguay, Jordon Roberts, Thomas Richard, Sara Hughes, Elizabeth Moras and Katie LaFreniere.

They and other top ranking seniors in the Mountain Valley conference will be honored at a banquet at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 23, in the South Dining Hall at the University of Maine at Farmington.

All Livermore Falls High students who have a 90 GPA or better are invited to an honors banquet at 6 p.m. May 25 in the high school cafeteria. Parents are invited.

Other upcoming events are: Fine Arts Night at 6 p.m. May 26; the senior class trip to Six Flags New England, May 28; an academic awards assembly at 1 p.m., June 2; senior exams, June 3, 4, 7 and 8; the junior prom is June 5; and the spring sports banquet is 6:30 p.m. June 9.

Baccalaureate will be at 7 p.m. June 10 in the St. Rose of Lima Church and graduation is at 7 p.m. June 12 followed by the Project Graduation trip to the Big Adventure Center in Bethel.

Middle School principal Matt Gilbert will list the yearbook dedication at 8 a.m. Monday, May 17; there is a a seventh-grade trip to Boston May 21; a joint concert with the high school on June 2; a semiformal dance, June 4, fifth-grade information night, June 7; promotion exercises, June 16; and move-up day will be June 17.

Elementary principal Terrie Roberts announced a fourth grade concert on May 27; the district band concert, June 2; and the first grade concert June 3. There also may be a field day on June 16.

A kindergarten tea with author Lynn Plourde will be May 26 and June 2, and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters celebration will be June 3.
