NOPE, NOT MINE: Tim LaFrance of Lewiston rides his daughter’s 50 cc Pocket Rocket during the slow ride competition at the third annual United Bikers of Maine Motorcycle Show in the Wal-Mart parking lot Sunday. When asked if it was his, he replied with a laugh, “No, I’ve got a BIG one!” All proceeds raised through food sales and bike entry fees will go to the Children’s Miracle Network and the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. There are approximately 13,000 motorcyclists on Maine’s roads and May is Motorcycle Safety Month.
