AUBURN – Ida M. Langelier, 91, of 57 Fifth St., went home to be with the Lord, Sunday afternoon, May 16, at her home, with her family by her side.

She was born in St. Come, P.Q., Nov. 26, 1912, the daughter of Joseph and Celina Rodrigue Letourneau.

On Sept. 25, 1933, she was married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church to Maurice Langelier. He died Oct. 29, 1992.

She was a member of the Auburn Catholic community, having attended Sacred Heart and St. Louis Church. She worked for many years in area shoe shops.

Among her interests were her board puzzles, which she always enjoyed piecing together, her flowers, sewing, cooking and playing cards. Her greatest pleasure in life however was the time she spent with her family. She will be greatly missed but always remembered as loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lucien (Lorraine) Belanger of Sabattus and Mrs. Paul (Jeannette) Tremblay of Auburn; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
