I recently had the pleasure to accompany Anna Dean (grade 8) and Lindsey Kasik (grade 6) at the Union spelling bee. Minot Consolidated and Brace M. Whittier school also attended. The spelling bee was held at Bruce Whittier. Even though there were three different grades there, all students participated in one spelling bee. For the third year in a row, our own Anna Dean won. Even though I was eliminated, I still had a great time. I’ll never forget how to spell the word lobbyist ever again! Pictured above left to right are: Chelsea Pickett, Lindsey Kasik and Anna Dean.
