RANGELEY – The Rangeley Moose Run, sponsored by City Cove Realty and Parkside and Main Restaurant, is scheduled for May 30 at 3:30 p.m. It’ll be a 5.2 mile event. There will also be a 1-mile “Fun Run” for the youngsters.

Entry fee is $15 which includes a T-shirt. All proceeds will benefit the Rangeley Lakes Regional School Athletic Department.

Chamberlain cited

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Peter Chamberlain, son of retired Lewiston Police Department member David Chamberlain, has been awarded two athletic honors at Furman University in South Carolina. The rugby player was named Male Athlete Of The Year and the Most Valuable Player of the team. His father, who retired as a lieutenant from the LPD in 2000, is currently working as an investigator in Georgia.

Lewiston Elks pool

LEWISTON – The team of Dick Cyr-Ray Pinette took top honors in the Wednesday night Lewiston Elks Pool League.

Second was the duo of Bob Chabot-Bob Sherburne, followed by Dan Asselin-Noel Poulin.
