LEWISTON – Rupert L. Davidson, 91, a resident of 201 Bradman St., Auburn, died Monday, May 17, at d’Youville Pavilion.

He was born in Augusta on Dec. 31, 1912, the son of Frank and Pebble (Delamater) Davidson. He was employed as a foreman in the area shoe shops. He was a member of Ancient Brothers Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Auburn. He was also a member of Kora Shriners, Androscoggin Square and Compass Club and Odd Fellows of Maine.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, the former Phyllis White; a son, Richard; his daughter, Linda Labonte; four grandsons, Derek, Doug, Rick and Mark; and two great-grandsons, Alex and Tyler.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Claude and Thurman.
