LEWISTON – Following are recent results in the Elliot LL:

Major Division: Governor’s picked up 2 wins, the first a 3-1 decision over Mike Morin’s Auto Center. Matt Lamare hurled a 1-hitter, striking out 11. Eric Hall and Lamare provided the offensive spark. Corbin and McKae Hyde combined for 7 strikeouts for Morin. . . Governor’s also knocked off Healey Associates 12-2 as Hall went the distance, fanning 8. Jesse Leeman collected 2 singles and a double. Tyler Haskell knocked in 2 runs. Leading Healey were Brandon Vye, Connor Anthoine and Tremblay.

Hannaford Brothers also earned 2 victories. The Grocers beat Healey Associates as Jacob Lajoie hurled 3 strong innings, striking out 4. Cody Dussault ripped 4 hits and Peter Blais added 3. . . Hannaford also edged Poussard Construction 6-5 as Blais earned the mound win. Alex Chicoine, Dussault, Matt Bowen and Matt Poto all banged 2 hits. Shawn Handler and Coby Poussard were repeat hitters for Poussard.

Mike Morin’s Auto Center gained a 6-1 victory over Dube Flower as pitchers Tucker Beaudin and Luke Cote combined for 8 Ks. Corbin Hyde collected 3 hits and Brandon Smith 2. Josh Roy, Scott Ouellette and Ben Wigant led Dube.

Minor Division: Corner Variety grabbed 2 wins, the first 13-2 over Emerson as Bryan Hall belted 4 hits. John Peters added 2. Evan Bourassa was the winning pitcher, striking out 8 in 3 innings. Eddie Emerson and Mike Nazaroff each rapped 2 hits for Emerson. . . Variety also beat Lighting Concepts 6-2 as Nick Boom and Kyle Lemelin combined on a 1-hitter. Lemelin and Cameron Copeland each socked 2 hits. Bruce Soper had the lone hit for Concepts.
