LEWISTON – Richard Dale Pratt, 73, of 540 College St., died May 8, at Montello Manor.

Born in Pittsfield, Oct. 14, 1930, the son of Carl and Margurite (Small) Pratt, he had lived most of his life in Augusta and graduated from Cony High School in 1951.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He had worked for many years at the U.S. Postal Service in Augusta, until his retirement. He also owned and operated a greenhouse and a mobile home park in Augusta. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 964 in Augusta and the American Legion Post 2 in Augusta.

He is survived by his former wife, Barbara Pratt of Florida; and his daughter, Cheryl Pratt of Taunton, Mass.
