GREENE – A candidates’ night forum will be held at the Town Office at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 27, to give people a chance to meet and question those running for the state Legislature and county commissioner.

Participating candidates are:

• Edward T. Madden of Lisbon, a Democrat running for state Senate District 17.

• John M. Nutting of Leeds, a Democrat running for state Senate District 17.

• James G. Simones of Greene, a Republican running for state Senate District 17.

• Christos J. Gianopoulos of Greene, a Democrat running for state House District 75.

• Steven Lee Reed of Sabattus, a Republican running for state House District 75.

• Scott E. Lansley of Sabattus, a Republican running for state House District 75.

• Elmer F. Berry of Greene, a Democrat running for county commissioner.

• Normand J.P. Laplante of Sabattus, a Democrat running for county commissioner.

The forum will be aired on WGLT Channel 7.
