Ceremonies and parades on Memorial Day in Jay, Livermore Falls and Fayette begin with a line-up at 6:30 a.m. Monday, May 31, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Jay. The line will consist of the honor guard, firing squad, bugler and participants.

Services:

• 7 a.m. at the Livermore Falls Memorial Bridge with the ceremony led by the AMVETS.

• 7:30 a.m. at the Livermore Veterans Memorial with the ceremony led by the American Legion.

• 8 a.m. at Jay Hill. Program by Dot White, Hyla Friedman and Jay citizens.

• 8:20 a.m. at the Jay POW/MIA Bridge with the ceremony led by the VFW.

• 9 to 10 a.m. Parade line up at the MEMCO Building.

• 10 a.m. Parade starts with the following ceremonies held during the parade.

• Chisholm Square WW2 Monument with Program and Ceremony by the American Legion.

• Richardson Cemetery Monument with the ceremony by the VFW.

• Grand Army of the Republic Monument with the ceremony by the American Legion.

• WW2 and WW1 Monument in Livermore Falls Park with the program and ceremony led by the Knights of Columbus.

• Fire and police and emergency services at Livermore Falls Park with program and wreath laying by local departments.

Following the parade:

• 12:15 p.m. Fayette Veterans Memorial with the ceremony by the American Legion.

• 12:45 p.m. Wreath laying at Post 3335.

Rangeley

Sunday, May 30. Parade on Main Street starts at 1 p.m. A brief ceremony at the Veterans Memorial follows.

Weld

Monday, May 31. Parade begins at 2 p.m. It form at town hall and marches to the library where a service will be held, then marches back to the town hall. The Old Crow Band from Farmington will perform.

Kingfield

Monday, May 31. A memorial service begins at 9 a.m. at the American Legion monument at corner of Depot and Main Streets.

Phillips

Monday, May 31. Parade on Main Street begins at 11 a.m. and goes from the bank to the monument.
