BERLIN, N.H. – Mina “Mae” (Downes) Bellemore, 86, a resident of St. Vincent de Paul Health Care Center, Berlin, N.H., passed away on Friday evening at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, N.H.
She was born in Berlin, N.H., on Dec. 28, 1917 the daughter of Ira E. and Celia (Martin) Downes and was a lifelong resident. She was an active member of the Salvation Army.
Members of the family include a son, Ronald Bellemore and wife, Helen of Lewiston; a daughter, Faith Desgroseilliers and fiancee, Donald Kingsley of Berlin, N.H.; two grandchildren, Adam Bellemore and wife, Stephanie and Amy Bellemore of Lewiston; four sisters, Minnie Oleson, Lorraine Downes, Doris Norton and Florence Quiram and husband, Ray, all of Berlin, N.H., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Bellemore, who died Aug. 28, 1996 and by a daughter, Gloria Bellemore, who died April 25, 2004.
